The Gallies!

Aidan's best buddy was here this weekend...all the way from California!
His name is Sean Ryan and he & Aidan are only 4 weeks apart!
Sean brought along his parents, Ryan & Kelli, our besties.
We became super close friends in California, but we all met in MN.  Ryan and Brian met in a Bethlehem Baptist bible study at Bethel College.  Then Gallaghers moved to Escondido in 2008 so Ryan could attend Wscal, and that's where Kgal and I became besties.  I miss her like crazy now that we live in Iowa, but I am so blessed by our almost-weekly phone dates.  What an absolute treat and joy it was to have them with us this weekend.

The boys had so much fun!

Kgal said that when Sean plays with older boys, he always has to push them.
He must have known that Aidan is 4 weeks younger; therefore, Aidan does the pushing.

The boys spent a lot of time playing in a Spiderman tent my parents gave Aidan for Christmas.
Aidan wasn't too sure about the tent at first; it took him awhile to warm up to the idea.
For Sean, on the otherhand, it was love at first sight:

Our two days were filled with lots of chatting, playing games, and watching our boys enjoy one another:

 Kgal and her boy.
Aidan wants to join the fun!
 The guys and their boys.

 Love her!
My heart is overflowing with thankfulness to the LORD for giving me a friend like Kgal.
And...meet Baby Gallagher #2!
Due in June.
I think it's a GIRL...

The little boys enjoyed giving one another "knuckles".  This was the last "knuckles" before the Gallies left.  So sweet.
I promised Kgal "2-3 blog posts, minimum on our visit."  More to come, Kgal!
Love you all!  And thanks SO MUCH for visiting us.

We think it is so amazing how the LORD provides times of refreshment through seminary friends every 6 months or so...like this summer when the Locatells and Cochrans visited.  We are so so blessed.
